Decoding Gandhi

If you didn't got the habbit of going about the title before reading the article, you must be reading this .... ! I am not going to expatiate gandhi, his personal life and the wonders or ironies he did to the society or country.

Today, when the whole country is Observing Gandhi jayanti, many people are sitting in the home and pacifying their souls as there is no work today. The national holiday in some sense brings the feeling of joy and relievement, but also brings the feeling of our responsibility towards the freedom fighters and their spirits with which they selflessly fought for their rights, freedom and happiness.

There are very few who can identify the grave situations, the pain, the opressed feeling what would have went in the minds of the slave indians. Then, there arose few who took the charge, they came out of their bed, to raise their voice against the british rule.

Though, in my mind, a thought of "would the country be more successful under british raj?" still pervails and boggles my mind both ways. This is still under preliminary stages of debatable competition in my mind, but i would definitely post something soon.

Coming back to Mahatma gandhi, i personall didn't liked his ideologies, and horribly, they somehow become the laughter stock when i used to read them in books at my school days. Just imagine, how a rowdy teenager will intercept the principle of "Present another cheek when slapped on one"? The generation today is changing .... changing very fastly. The kids are getting sharper and blunt day by day, and the old principles are repeatedly being replaced by new ones.

Gandhi may be a sarcasm, he may be a Disciple of his own beliefs, but surely, the world has left gandhi in the past ... they have learnt to move in their own way, the way they know best ... (and for that matter, just opposite to what gandhi-ism is.)

Cow-ard English

I just thought to share an Interesting essay on cow. This is very hilarious and i hope would give you a reason to smile.

Getting out and In ....

hmmf ... Cruel days ! Lots of readers of my blog would have known about my habbit of doing a disappearing act time and again. Regular postings have became the matter of distant nobility for me. But i always try to post something or the other quality facts and stuff around me. In my endavour to do so, i have clicked so many pics round here and there ... of which i would soon made a collage video or post it "as is".

Meanwhile, lots of new things happened in life ... and are about to happen soon. Lets not dig into personal stuff here, after all its a Public Whiteboard!

So, it was all about the tapping fingers on they laptop's keys, and i am once again on the groove to flood this blog once again.

So guys ... "Author is still Alive...", More postings coming soon. Keep watching this space !

Rakhi festive and Innocuous beliefs

Yesterday, like every year, with all the zeal, we were pumped about celebrating rakhi with our brothers and sisters. The morning saw us getting ready early and making a swift exit to our parental uncle's (mama) house. The day was written to be refreshing as it involves meeting lots of people who we seldom meet or can't find much portion of time.

Everything was scripted to be perfect untill we found that the other than the traffic on the road and our punctuality, there is some other element involved that has to decide when should .. or infact at what time, we should observe the festive.

As i reached my Mama's house, he welcomed us with the fact that priests has suggested a specific time period ... Holy time period ... that is, for tying the rakhi on brother's wrist. Now what the time has to do with tying the rakhi? and i just had a triffle of doubt, how are priests and rakhi connected with each other? we were not worshiping any god? do we? yet our complete family and relatives were generously admanant to believe the mindless-beliefs without having any perpetual logics behind.

So, here how our Dear pandit ji has drafted the time table for the occassion .. no ... "Auspicious Occassion". The rakhi is to be tied from 10 A.M. till 11:30 A.M. if you fail to do so, then the next auspicious occassion falls between 2:35 P.M. till 4:00 P.M. Panditji was surely giving enough workout schedule.

Amongst all this, after a day, being an un-revolutionised part of it, i feel that i may safely call this .. "Rubbish", a mindless gathering of Rubbish. The world will not stop if one stops believing this idiotic pandits, who just make even breathing a HOLY habbit. There is no boundations on living, but this auspicious timings and age-old paradigms are certainly a lost of sense to me.

This is a time, when we as a society must look beyond this immaturish digging of hapless beliefs. Time is that we should make a mark by working hard for us, and not to please the GOD, for whom we don't even know how his protocols work?

We all must thank god for our existence, for auto-balancing everything in and around us, but whilst, let not these helpless freaks(priests) take the cue of it.

Salute to the power which created us.

Back to Business

Once again ... its been such a long time, since i hit the blog posting. Sadly, due to one thing or another, last week kept me aside from doing the thing i really liked ... BLOGGING! But, don't tend to think that i hit the magic lamp and i was busy throughout last week ... to find the pleasing ways to make genie give his elusive appearance. Neither i was grossed into a Harry Potter and weaving the magical web around me. Though i thank god, that i never got the chance to go through even the first part of the harry potter series. my mom thanks me for that, and to the fact that i still think that Brooms in my house dont fly!!

The last week was different, there were some unmentionable incidences, plus, few surprising and cheerful moments, yet, still they are unmentionable in a way.

So, let me come straight on the clear picture, and leave the classification of incidences. The nice thing we get in this week was a new office.

From the old crappy featureless, horror hall building, we shifted to the new palace, 'ooo wow' looking building. Ultra cool Air Conditioner, A golf field like Reception area, multi-tier broad floors with cool comfy infrastructure and polished floors all around were thouroughly competitive and energetic on their own.

"Lagta hai Gareeb sheher mein aa gaye hain", one of my friend quoted. And correctly so, we were now feeling the essence of working with the Giant Indian MNC. That is so true that the workplace boosts the healthy temperament and spirit within. We are glad with the space and looking forward for some place where we can arrange a Cricket match ... well ... who would protest .. after all ... "Boys will be boys!"

Felony of Mankind - A bloody tale

Last month, country saw the gore , the unsaid and fearful gory scenes were split wide open before the world to see. It all started with the south wing of the indian IT Hub, Banglore. The IT City was shocked to see what happened within few odd minutes. 9 serial blasts rocked the epicenter of the commercial establishments and fearfully propogated the reason for belief that its always common man that has to bear the brunt of his existence, and may sometimes has to pay his dear life.

It didn't mattered that day, who cared to extend his help as for what purpose, or at which condition. It was all the feirce exhibition of horrible story, brutally written and staged by the screwed minds who went ahead to attack the innocents. These were the small bombs but were powerful enough to create the flutter in the air, and infact snatched so many sons from their mother, husband from a wife or a brother from a sister.

But story of this brutality didn't ends here. It was worse.. ... the worst has yet to come. The very next day, country, no .. the whole world was amazed to see how easily a country felt itself on her knees by the outstray of the horrible terrorism. This time, it was Ahemdabad, Capital city of Gujrat, Lots of lives lost, and human flesh was lying here and there like the broken pieces of glass.

These bombs might have shooked the two cities to the great hilt, but more than that, the scare factor in living simple, for a common man, has multiplied into the Ogre!

Schwarzenegger-ing

Ok! all rite! Weekend came rocking once again. And what could be better than reconciling the complete last week into a single post entry on a humid sunday morning! So, in my ambition to "boys become men" theory, the first chapter opened with a bright note. Finally after lot of twitter twitter, here and there, we (me and my friend saurabh) settled on for a Ok-Ok GYM ! Monday(22nd July 08) was the day when i step ahead in the gym for the first time in my life for a professional/formal Gym Training.

Being rookie, i was electric about the whole Muscle building thing. In the sheer stroke of excitement and joy, i poured in extra effort and stamina. All i was left with was the heavily sweat soked T-Shirt and punctured body. But a joy of getting excercised and keeping thyself fit, was equally eloquent.

Nothing special happened in this week except that every single morning, i was hitting up the GYM toning my muscles, and that was a propunding feeling. The strenghthness and hardness that comes in the body after 1 hour session is joyful.

But .. But .. But ... dont ever think that this "lazy puttar" will forget to mention the tough volleys that comes along with such a workout. Day 1 belonged to Warm-ups, Day 2 was dedicated Biceps, Day 3 saw me thrusting my Triceps, 4th day was for Shoulders and finally 5th was pumping my Thighs. At the end of this week long ordeal, i was left like a carcass held jointly together by strings. Lifting either hand above 90 degrees prewarns about the impending scream.

So much so, is the pain, that i won't call today as "Celebrating Sunday", rather, i would call it as my "Recuperating Sunday". However, i have sincerely started to find charm charisma in well shaped body, stronger Biceps, Arms and Abs. within one week, i have started to find, a confidence in wearing smart T-Shirts, and hope my efforts would pay me more by adding into my looks! Aameen! :)

The summary speech of the skit

Dialogues - Summary of Skit

Dekha Aapne? Insaan chota ho ya bada, dhanwaan ho ya nirdhan, roopwaan ho ya kuroop, uski pehchaan uske vyavahar se hi hoti hai. Jeene ko to pashu bhi jee lete hain, parantu, ek Manushya …..[gives a pause] … nods head horizontally … Ek Sacha Manav(speaks boldly) wo hai .. jo auro ke liye jiye.

Yeh kahani sirf ek kirdaar Manav sharma ki nahi, Yeh kahani aapki hai [Points left] Yeh kahaani aapki hai [Points center] aur Yeh kahani aapki bhi hai [Points right]

Iss daudti hui zindagi mein, rishto mein pyar, aur, dilo mein izzat kahi kho si gayi hai. Samay hai ki hum sankalp kare,

Hum khud se sankalp kare – Ki kisi rote hue insaan ko bharosa na sahi to do shabd khushi ke de jaayenge.
Hum khud se sankalp kare = Ki kisi chote starr ke insaan ko izzat dekar kuch ucha uthayenge
Hum khud se sankalp kare ….. Ki khud apne khuda ko, Hum Manav Bankar dikhayenge.

Yeh Kaisi Maaya Hai??

Watching TV ca be a juicy timepass for most of those Saas and Bahus who had a liking for Million Series TV Serials, or You girls who had fallen into the trap of sugary romantic heroes and their gimmicks on the small screen. And to some extent it applies to boys who wish to steal a petty glance to the models. But i am rare visitor at my dining room to see the Television.

Just today, after dinner, thot to give a glance on TV shows. Came to know that Mayawati is being proposed to the world of poliics in a big way. After manmohan, the government from the opposition team is witting to see her in the prime position. It is really stupendous and amazing to see, a women with no political background making herself the cynosure of all eyes.

Lets see what future beckons ..

What is the last post about?

If, besides me, you happen to be an avid reader of my amateur blog, you would be wondering about the last post. Thats true, my last post was like a sunlight in the rain..."An example of total inappropriateness" Thats why this post.

So let me open the covers one by one. The last post is nothing but the outline of the story of a Skit, which our team is going to perform at our Department's Party. Yes, a big party is lined up and for that we have taken the initiative to do a Skit. Now it was very tough and belligerent on our behalf to think and come up with a conclusive story. the ardous task was to choose a Humorous story and then present it with all sorts of masala in it. Sadly, it does not go well with my opinion. However, Everyone sat together for meeting, and then again a meeting, and then followed by another one.

I was persistent about doing some meaningful comedy or i could also have bargained for the humor part if our story could throw some meaningful message to everyone. "we can put comedy within the lines" I quoted to everyone. Most of the members were circumspect. They liked the idea of doing some silly yet funny comedy, like making a mockery of famous reality shows, for instance - Kaun banega Crorepati, Dus ka Dum etc.

I knew, untill i give them a strong jaw dropper of a story, i would not be able to get their nod. however, before punching the day, they concluded that they are going to go ahead with Reality show stuff. End of the day and my mind was busy exploring the social stuff, world around me ... or Indeed "Mera Jahaan".

During my journey back home, there were several things that stucked in my mind. People, poor life, deprivation, Diseases etc. I Had discussion with my father, as he was a pro in his office days. He came up with some cool ideas about the plays, short stories. While having conversation with him, i just came up with a bright fervor.

I projected, a story which deals with the life of a man whose life changes when all of a sudden all the ancillary services like Barber, Milkman, security officer, sweeper, and several other cease to work for him.
  • He gets a big jolt and realizes how important they were for his petty life. He realises, the importance of Human-ness.
  • He realizes that Human is born just like Human, its just that circumstances changes their status in society. Everyone needs to be looked in the same honor and Regard.
I thought about it ... and again. will this work, will everyone agree? On our next meeting at office, i put this idea before everyone. As i was fully convinced with the idea, the confidence and anticipation came automatically to me. I was apprehensive. Everyone looked zooming with the story. And thus, we fixed upon this one. I was elated. Having the strong understanding of the character and story line, i was labelled to be the main(central) character.

Now these days we are working all our wits and staminas to crack this up. We had a bad appraisal in our department, and everyone was down, reluctant, but i still feel that i would again get good support as we are very close to our final screening .

i would wish myself "ALL THE BEST" for my first Directorial venture.

STROKED BY A STRIKE - SKIT STORY OUTLINE

SKIT Story Outline – STROKED BY A STRIKE

DAY 1

SCENE 1

MILKMAN -Our story starts on the morning of a muggy morning, a Central character, named “Manash” getting ready for the office. While getting ready he informs that he would not like to have tea as he is too full. The doorbell rangs, his wife went on to open the door to receive the milkman. Seeing the delay of the milk delivery, he clamours upon the milkman, and insults him to the hilt.

SCENE 2

BARBER - He visits a local barber, while having haircut, Manash keeps on tilting from one side to another as he was sleepy. This causes lot of discomfort for the barber but still he tries to have a gentle haircut for him. During this adjustments, the barber trips off and by accidentally injures Manash. He asks for forgiveness, but manash is relentless. He is not willing to listen, he wanted the cutting free of cost and also asks the barber for a public apology. Barber is disgusted, as it was just because manash, this thing happened.

SCENE 3

SWEEPER – On his way back to home, in a rush, he is busy on the cell phone, and was so lost in the telephonic conversation, that he forgets that he is moving across the area which a local sweeper is cleaning up with the broom. The accident strikes back. The sweeper unknowingly blows off all the dust on him as he was coming from the wrong side, the side, from where sweeper would not have imagined somebody could come, after seeing him sweeping the road.

Manash gets irritable again. He clamours upon the sweeper, he has a funny and heated argument with sweeper. In the midst of anger he slaps the sweeper. Sweeper being a negligible person, prefers to stay quiet. He is standing there ashamed, without his fault, and Manash leaves boastfully like he has conquered a dynasty.

SCENE 4

SECURITY GUARD – On reaching office, while parking his car, he notices the security guard standing far, he disgustfully calls him to let him park his car. He accidentally bumps the car on the tree[“here the accident should be entirely from the Manash’s side, the security guard is innocent”].

Manash again is furious over the fact that security guard is sleeping on his duty, he does not know how to let the vehicle be parked. He furiously hurls handful of abuses to security and makes him embarrass before his friends.

He moves on to his work …..

The changing times...

One could easily accumulate all the astonishment in just one flush of thoughts when one sees the changing world and society around.

But more than anything, it is the change in the way children present themselves, or could one say, its amazing how smarter kids have became.

As i m sitting stuffed between the big bulky co-passengers, i can nt find a better way to entertain myself than writing this post. However, i cudnt have done any other thing whilst being packed like a neglected piece of tomatoe between two big buns (or shud i say BUMS ;)

One more very special thing which is propelling me to write this are KIDS. They r everywhere around me. Spread like the

Everything happens for good …

Over the past week, I have been filled up with STUDIES, STUDIES and lots of it. So much so that I even forgot to think anything rational except the management principles. I may perhaps consider this mess as a self given gift. The unwilling reluctance to study, and the last minute rush all contributes to it. I had observed this in my last Master Degree study, and so is this time.

This has been the very first semester of my MBA Course, and its no proud feeling. I know I have to improve upon my mistakes. Study Is all about traversing the fragments over a larger period, rather than doing it vice-versa.

Studying for any management degree is not too tough, if you have the courage to show the zeal and enthusiasm within you. The basic ailment with the working people is that they tend to forgo the basic necessity of being in constant connection with the Growing demand of professionals and strive hard to make his mark by giving the adequate time to his studies.

I joined Distance learning mode of MBA, as I felt that it would be hard for me to Leave the Job, when I am at the crucial escalating juncture of my career. Leaving Job thereon would have meant the doom and destruction for me and career. Perhaps that would have been taken all my efforts in a different mode altogether.

I am happy that after doing my MCA(Masters of Computer Applications), I am pursuing but seeing the pattern of exams and quality of questions, I can feel, if I had fought better for this throughout the semester, I would had been a king.

The aspirations which I brought at the beginning of the semester are there …. Very much there .. but nastily lying on the couch. Well .. whatever happens .. It happens for Good.

Now I feel that life teaches you a lesson, one time and every time. If you have the capability to realise and correct your mistakes, you are bound to learn and earn better. I did, in this blog. I was lousy fellow throughout, but I would definitely try to do far far better and earn the King's Crown for myself.

Still … two exams that I wrote, went well. It was all about management principles and market research, so no problems in them, The tougher ones are yet to come into the scenery and I would be anticipating that they should go smooth as well. Keeping my fingers crossed and my eyes Locked to Courseware !! Time to study now …..

MBA Exams from tomorrow ...

So, so , so !! MBA exams have finally arrived. Sitting in today, i can see the forthcoming exams(starting from tomorrow i.e. Sunday, 15th June 2008) will be a new Chapter all together. Besides having one Master degree with me, just an Year back, i thought to give myself a chance to venture into MBA degree.

In the rapidly developing environment, one has to keep him upgraded all the time. Striving should be the nature and Passionism be the Fervor. It's very hard to keep the study and Job, hand in Hand, but i believe, if one has the calibre to crack this up, he is surely going to reap the fruit of this at a later stage of his/her career.

Coming back to my MBA Examination, preparing for Exams will not be that much difficult(i think so..) as most of the content is similar to what i already have learn in my Graduation(Yeah .. i was a commerce student !) The major challenge lies in writing the paper as per the examiner's line of belief and preferences. The MBA examinations, as i may deduce, not only checks for your rememberance of a particular subject or points for that matter. rather, a good Examiner will stress more upon your Build up of the Solution and your Potential of Analyising the Facts.

For example, A Simple Basic Question, "What is the role of a manager?" may well be defined as the book-ish answer, which can easily be caught by the imagination of any Grad. But the Onus lies elsewhere. Its all about first getting into the shoes of examiner, and evaluate the answer accordingly. Manager is one who Establishes the connecting link between the Organizational Objectives and Employees goals, would be more suitable then listing down all the things which a manager does or can do in an Organization.

When i first joined, this course, I thought to exploit all my inner skills and hard labour to flourish, but sadly, my tiltation towards computers and a Bit of my carelessness prevented me to achieve what i wanted to ... in the first semester. But now, as this is the Final stages, i know, each moment is very special and precious, If i did the hard work now, and crack the exams well, i can offset all the mistakes i did in studying for the last six months. After this, i will be again in a reset position and i can start afresh from there. It's all about studying with precise technique and understanding of question and writing the nicely Evaluated answer.

So, my last few words for this post ...

There are NO shortcuts to hard work.

ALL THE BEST TO ME ... !

Baap ke zamaane ke Daam !!

मसखरी at Office !

It all got started with the little mischief that strucked in my mind early in the morning. Our good friend Sanjeev, is often known as "Cheeku" but does not like to be called so .... So, I ensured, the morning for him reminds him about his Fruit-ful Identity :)

The first mission was to change his nameplate to his more famous version of naming.

Being first in the morning, this wasn't an ardous task. happened smoothly indeed.

So, now, i became the storekeeper of the cubicle. Just was waiting like an ailing tiger waiting for its victim. The smile says all .........

So, here enters our fruity pie, and he happily agrees to get him snapped,

Not realising that चीकू कट रहा है। :)

But it was too good of him that he took everything in lighter vein, a good person by heart and a jolly personality to be with. Good work Cheek...(oops Sanjeev !! )

कुछ अनकहे लफ्ज़, कुछ ख्वाब मेरे. - 1

Few shayaris which touched the string of my heart. They have the magnetic soothness that makes me read again and again.

Awesome Mausam

..... I think weather god do think that i am doing no justice to him by writing just one post on weather in delhi. The rain blessed delhi, in the morning was suffering from the aftermath of rain ... Humidity. The skin was acting like a rubber and glue. It was so sticky and muggy due to the high moisture content in the air. Somehow day passed once i entered office.

In the evening, everything was still same ... the weired weather with down troden feeling. But our weather god has someother thing in store. The good ol famous storm winds started to blew and within no time.. it started raining.

I was on my way back to home, so got full drenched with joy. When it started to rain, i was elated. After all, being delhi-ite ..I started loving free water.

To make the full us of this offseason water blessings, i tread slowly. On reaching home, i took no time to again pull of my socks and shoes and ran on top floor of house, keeping my parents amazed. Off goes my shirt, and i was feeling like leonardo-di-caprio.

Being a kid sometimes helps ... Today, like regular days, i started my day as adults, worked like elder ones .. and at the end, I was Kid all over again. That's how the days should be.

My Boss - in His Worst best!

These days to our amazement, our simple looking decent boss is furious, angry, and that too just because of few simple reasons that he had avoided in the past.

He is clamouring us like Mountains, and the result is going to be retrospective. As we are the people who follow newton's law, we would not like to keep it to us, rather would give it back.

Seeing his burned up face all the time, is no pleasure in itself. He has to know, that maintaining his composure and motivating the employees is the perfect way to get the work done from the Employees. But sadly, this guy is choosing the wrong and unprofessional path. Reporting to the seniors above him, and putting us, before them. That is so unprofessional.

Someone should now have to teach what are the rules of the game. Hopefully next week would be all about teaching and making him learn, what we like, and how we work best!

Barsaat ke baad ...

Last week, delhi woke up with an amazement, a sweet one indeed. In the peak summer, the weather god threw a Giftpack of respite and enjoyment. The week welcome everyone with the showers and drizzle all across the northern India. It was surpising as well as pleasing for the eyes, eyes, which now are accustomed to see the sweat and pricky sunshine.

Day 1 went smooth, as people assumed that this blessing of rain might not last long ... But wait ... records were about to be crumbled, with the pleasing disdain. During the complete last week delhi received so much rainfall that weather people were bound to classify this outrageous move of weather to an 'Out of the Blue' experience. And really, in true sense this was a electrifying experience. There were times when people preferred to stay inside to save themselves from the scorching heat, but now, people were freaking out, finding excuses from their offices to feel the freshness and coziness in the air. And that tooo .... In the MONTH OF MAY !!!

Weathermen quoted that this astounding change of weather is attributed to the western cyclonic DISTURBANCES (I wonder why they call these movement of winds as DISTURBANCES ... none of my friends is Disturbed.)

The temperature fell so much, that it touched to 29 degrees! And that was something spectacular, more so than David Blain's magic. Deserted roads were brimming with happy faces, and India Gate lawns have became the happy hunting ground once again in the noon time. Leave alone Coolers or ACs, the Fan speed has to be lowered in the night.

Among all these pleasantries ... one fear strikes in my mind though, are we really heading to some disturbance? A so called retrospective Disturbance? Is nature giving us back ... of what we gave it ... The Destruction? The global warming and Ozone layer are already heat of the topic these days.

Should we welcome this change of weather or should we keep ourselves alarmed?
If we don't realize now, perhaps one day, there could be no one left to think over this. On that day, we could get the answers ... how Dinosaurs vanished from the face of the earth?

Its the time for all of us to wake. Save Earth .. Plant more trees .. Earth calling!!

New Additions ... Publisher is still ALIVE !!

Hi all,

Over the period, i got fed up with the same old routine text blogging without any flavor of spicy stuff. I was just observing how the video thing like youtube or dailymotion are taking internet by storm in inducing the predominance of video in the basic use, day to day.

To keep myself updated to this wind, i just have posted one youtube video titled "Tere Bin" sung wonderfully well by Pakistani singer Atif aslam. His voice made every single word in this lyrics worth thoughtful and enjoyable.

In addition to this, i also implemented the long desired slide show of my picasa pics. This slide show can be seen at the sidebar on the right of the screen. This morning i just had shot myself for the various moods, in various flavours .. be it .. Happy, Sad, crying, amazed, startled, curious and every other mood i can think of. I am sure the readers would like to see these new things.

But i prefer to keep these embedded videos to minimal.

A Cozy summer day!!

My morning started with a usual all rush events. Caught the bus, and chatted with friends. When it came to weather, everyone started cursing the humidity. So Morning welcomed me with sweat all across the body. Little did i know, this is going to change .... into a much pleasant observation.

Gradually as the morning approached to 10 A.M. weather turned out into a sepia contrast. The cloud shadow formed umbrella all over the Sky. This was followed by the heavy blow of winds which were like bullets of winds-storm piercing the hot weather. The wind blew with the speed of Leopard running in the forest. News channels reported it to be 104 Kmph !! The day was providing the vividness of weather and was enjoyable to watch. I faced everything, be it dust cloud which blew on my face or the Little drizzle of rain which provided much needed relief in otherwise a thorny temperature.

The whole day went past fine .. cool weather .. cozy atmosphere and everything one could ask for. But the horrific tale appeared split large on Television when i reached home at night. 4 People died and 10 injured due to minor disasters taking place, as big trees with loose roots fell on cars and elsewhere. Several vehicles crumbled under the uprooted trees made a mockery of the good weather.

Tiring week ... Sooo sleeeepyyyyyyy.

Sleep sleep and sleep, thats what i am short of ... and craving for since the start of this week! Greedy me, didn't cared enough to take an adequate rest during the weekend which was full of rush hour and computer configuration.

All i am left up with now.. is the falling shutters of my eyes and lousy feeling. Hope i will be able to steal some good sleep here and there within this week, Weekend is sooo distant and very short to complete all the humpty desires! :)

My Life and boundaries ....

As I am settling into the bed, my mind is whispering from inside, thinking about the all sorts of things that life holds and will present before me. There are various challenges and guidelines attached to this 80 odd years. I said 80 coz I love my life and expect myself to live at least that long.

Sometimes, I wish I could ask life all sorts of stupid questions, how and what will I get as the success? When will I be able to stand on my feet and say that in my own way, I dominate the world? When I would find the real happiness in myself, without any envy towards this world and the feeling of hatred? Answers are not easy to come by, are they?

Life moves, and like grain in the grind, we get along with it, with a mixed feeling of joy and dullness. Finding the undefined truth forgetting the Realistic presence to the mercy of our ideologies. Some day, this search will last …… last to make us realize, what we had lost in all these years.

Wirelessly Disconnected

Since the last 3 days, the things have gone beyond, way way beyond the maximum tolerance level of my patience.
The reason is not any big microsoft to yahoo type deal but a small piece of canny hardware - "Netgear Wi-Fi Router" which is giving me sleepless nights. The device seems to be unconfigurable ... and MTNL representatives seems to be always unreachable. If this goes way too far, i think i would then have to decorate this at my shelf.

Waiting for MTNL reparimen to come tomorrow.

Its already 2:30 A.M. and i am still not able to find any reason why i should leave my new darling ... and quit to bed!! So XCuse me plz ...:)

Posting Continued on 6th May 2008

Its been just three days since i have been playing with this beauty, but its already seemingly fantastic and eloquent. The dream machine, should i say? Good in looks and great in style. I am fascinated to know that DVD Scribe technology is a handsome property of this lappy. I would surely give a try by this weekend. DVD Scribe technology is basically a way by which the DVD Writer itself scribble over the DVD Surface, as per the design, one specifies. Its cool .. no?

The laptop has started making my life far far more easy and portable. Gone are the days when i used to sit on the desktop and write the blog posts. Now i just pack all my work and settle on bed, and pen down anything and everything. They say, the great thoughts comes at the end of the day, and when the writing at the end of the day is so comfortable, why should one abstain!?

So more blogs will be raining in ... I am waiting for this weekend when i would buy a wireless router to connect my lappy to internet and make it Complete Potent (not literally .. eh!)!!

Booked for niceties

Booking, the tacky word may be discribed by the finesse ease and sheer clarity if we start relating this to the world spread around us.
I was brought up seeing the booking everywhere, be it hospitals, hotels, restaurants, train journeys. But one more kind of booking more pralevent are the booked array of seats in local transport. But instead of having a booking against a ticket, its more of a booking by virtue of one's GENDER!

In Delhi, NCR and elsewhere in India, women are alloted the booked seats which they may claim from any male species that is happily enjoying the comfort of nice journey.

I may not comment if booking of this sorts is correct or not, but i may sometimes face few such issues wherein the 'fight for right' or infact "Fight to hold Booked Seat Tight" gets crazy to crazier and ugly to uglier.

Men relentlessly love to go against the RULES, and sometimes not leave seat for ladies, and the fairer gender after getting tired of luring them with the cold wind of their smiles, starts getting infuriated.

My question is why we can't a mixed seating arrangement for Public transport? Are its only women who needs seats for comfort and men needs to leave space for the Ladies. You can post your comments ... Discussion is ON ... and so is in all Public busses.

My FFF(Fast Friend Forever)

In my odd times, you stood by me,
You brought a reason for my striking glee,
You spread the magic of your charm,
your company was a blessing without a harm,
thinking u is my everyday's passion,
I can't hide from you my silly obsession!
You will be special to me, ask me Ever,
That's how you've been my Fast Friend Forever!!

Packers and Movers

In childhood days, i always liked to see more of anything, be it More cakes, more cookies, more gulab jamuns, more toys, videogames, and much more of mores.

Bt this fascination of mine grew onto become a paranoid when i discovered that these Mores are not only the pleasers. More tension, more work, more nightmares of ur bull shaped bosses, more responsibilities of Girlfriends and top of all More and MORE Crowd to accompany u in local bus to make ur journey happily IRRITATING AND PESKY.

As i m travelling in a jampacked vehicle, a vehicle i said because, from naked eye, its hard to guess dat this men-clad moving thing actualy is a bus! The poor passengers are hanging like linen left to dry in open air. They are hugging on anything they can hold, be it shaft of bus, window's pane, partner's waist or even poor conductor's leg. I can easily sense on the roads of delhi, how the Leaning Tower of Pisa will look while moving.

Getting back...from class

I just stole some time to write this entry. Juz finished attending the 2nd week of my MBA class.

Feeling immensly hungry and my mind is tortourously tempting me 2 think about sweet yummy fresh pastries or creamy pudding with fresh pulpy pineapple pieces, that i often like 2 have at a newly opened local bakery shop Baker's Island. But thinking about the fact that my weight gain has already assisted the gravitational pull, i am trying to trap and kill this temptation..... After all, PET KA SAWAAL HAI ;-)

Blossom-ed after Holi..

Qweeek ... What are these creatures???!! I imaginatively thought about your first reaction after seeing the accompanying pic. All horrible and weired looking zombie like human species standing to get themselves clicked !!

But i may never deny the fun we had this holi. All of us were happily engrossed in herbal Gulaal and having fun!

If as per my understanding, you are piercing your sight to spot whos who, lemme introduce you to the Ugly Team

Starting from Left :
Gaurav, Ravi, Me(of course the center of all eyes! :), Yashpal a.k.a Bittoo and Mannu.

Rocky was missing as he flew for his AOL(its 'Art of living' and not 'America On-Line', he is still in India) get together! We missed him.
But we didn't missed the festive which brings all of us together and gives a change to hug each other and tell that yes, we are there for you in your Good and bad times. Even Zombies have a heart, you see? :)

Getting ready for Holi ..

Today's Morning is a bit jittery, due to the fact that i slept by 2 in the morning(was watching Taare Zameen Par - 5th Time !!). The first thing which i did after waking up is to send the sweet wishes to all my mates on mail, scrapping all and sending text too. phew ... sometimes i feel how much far i go ahead to make sure none in my friends circle lefts out. Holi, is not the "aisa waisa" festival anywez.

For me, two festivals in the form of Holi and Diwali holds special meanings, Holi lets you be a Spoilt brat, permits you to create as much Havoc and nuances in your neighbourhood and Diwali gives you an opportunity to revert one's ill deeds done at Holi by sitting like a lame duck before god and praying with Folded hands.

While sitting today and writing this blog entry, i am getting tempted to jump out and make some dhamaal. Feeling very excited and will try to live my childhood.

Looking eagerly forward to Play red, black, blue and brown. But my suggestion to self and you. Please use the herbal colors only. The locally made colors may ruin your skin, and as far as possible be aware of water ballons. They sometimes may hit you like a flying saucer.

ना पिचकारी की धार से
ना रंगो की बौछार से
बंदा डरता है तो सिर्फ़
गुब्बारो की मार से !

The celebrations have already started in and around my Mohalla! So, here i go ... But i will definitely not miss to put my pic, plastered in various contrasting colors for your Discomfort.

Till then .....

Happy Holi To You All !!

(S) "NO" (W) Limitiations

Lots of things had happened in the past ... A trip to the beautiful place .. Haldwani with the complete office gang to the marriage of one of our office colleague.

We wandered to haldwani and then moved to the picturesque beauty of Nainital. For the first time, i was elated (indeed that is the very small word) to see the snow. We touched and played with it like maniacs.

Though the snow was less, but our spirit was not! We climbed beautiful mountainous locations of Nainital, we drove and rush like the rabbit. The chilling weather was delight and so was the soothing feeling of having a great company along.

It's very seldom that i have found so much enthusiasm and fervour in my skeleton. It would be better if i would leave this to the reader to his imagination. If you have been to some Hill Station, you may clearly imagine.
Though this was not my first time at hills, but yes surely my first encounter with Snow, and that made this visit to nainital a surely landmark!

Thanks for Socket(Saket is his actually name!) for putting up his marriage at such a astounding place.

This trip would stay in the books of my memorable moments for a long time. ... perhaps .. till i visit some other Snowy Den next time. Any of my friends listening..?

Lets plan another trip yaar! Life is going away .. just like that ... Without the SNOW!! :)

I am Humorously Serious

One fine day, God appeared before a Moron and said: “I shall grant you a wish … Ask me”.
Moron: “God, I wish to be alive … Till I die!! “

Humor, the way to define this term is an arduous task, but without a molecule of doubt, Humor invites an instant attention no matter to whatever society, language or culture one belongs to. Few brands of humor I may classify from the world around me are: Wry Humor, Blunt humor, Leg-pull Humor, Decent humor. In my life I had faced many of these sorts, some bitter, some meaningful and some otherwise.

Besides the above mentioned genres of Humor, I have gathered one more type into my kitty. That is “Observational humor”. It’s as it sounds! No one will come to you and blow his breath to make you laugh out of your wits, but it is something that needs to be observed from the world around. Say, a dog relieving all his tensions on the Pole at the center of your locality may sometimes goes un-noticed, but surely you won’t miss it if in your weirdest of dreams, you heard AKASHWANI from God that you are going to be a Municipality POLE in your next Avatar!! …. Now.. hey don’t stop that Dog … at least for this Birth of yours? Take another such example of calm humor:

A boy visits a gift shop and asks the Salesman:
Is there any card which expresses .. “I Love you only”?
Sales Man: Yes, it’s Available.
Boy: Fine, pack 20 cards!

Though I am not that much proud of my Sense of humor, but definitely believes that the most effective and inevitable part of humor is the expression and variation in the pitch of one’s voice when the ball needs to be rolled out! I remember one of my friend in High-School who always had good jokes up on his sleeves, but every time he shoots a JOKE, we innocuously configures our face to stay helplessly serious like if his jokes are bible to us. His situation aggravates when he has to do another effort to tell us that the Joke has actually got over and we are ought to LAUGH!!

Nevertheless, laughter may or may not be situational, it might be sarcastic humor too. But the foremost thing to note is anytime, if humor is stretched too far beyond one’s comfort, it becomes a pinch of pepper. One should take everyone into the stride. You can easily target your humor towards somebody, but exaggeration of this excitement’s carcass may become burial of healthy relation.

That’s why they say ..

Writing Comics is a Serious JOB!”

Visitor: Is anybody there ....?
Me: Yes, i am here ... say ..?

Me: Eric ..? what is this name? You are so miser in even keeping your name!
Eric: let bygones be bygones dear, actually i came here to ask for your permission.
Me: My permission .. for what? Presidential elections in US?

Me: Your google servers?
Eric: Yeah! I am the CEO of Google!
Me: Oooh wow!
Eric: Shut up(His face was stern like my primary school's headmaster)! Just tell me what should we do about the unusual amount of space which you are sitting on like a hungry vulture?
Me: I use it ..
Eric: wat for? to check your network speed? or to flaunt before your friend of your email account which you will never visit? or to impress girls that you write articles on the Blogger?
Me: No, i doooont do that ... you see, accidentally i got popular....
Eric: yes, popular of being lame moron, sitting worthlessly without writing anything on blogger!?
Me: I will write ... surely ...
Eric: what? what you will write? the monotonous technical article, to which millions have snubbed. You see, your last article was more of a copy paste thing ...
Me: oops! you caught me .. hmmm ...
Eric: I will need your promise.
Me: ... that i will always Copy Paste from other sites?
Eric: No, moron, that you will do regular blogging.
Me: Ya, surely ..
Eric: what surely?
Me: hmm .. I promise that!
Eric: Good! so just get on now ... Kick on again.
Me: Thanks eric.
Eric: Oh, thanks for waking you off your sleep? is it?
Me: No!! For letting me know ..."Who is the CEO of Google!!!!!" :)
