Design Makeover in the Offing?

Off-late, i have been in the process of thinking ... Thinking hard indeed. And this thoughtful bug is not related to how to cripple my boss for work :) but i have been pondering over the thoughts of giving this Blog an Image Makeover.

These days i am working hard to strategize the new Design of my blog, and if everything goes well as per the plan, i will be Launching the new Design next year, by the Month of February.
Whatever i does to my blog, gives me immense satisfaction, and i hope, this time as well .. i will groom the blog to perfection.

Do keep your eye-lids open, something more attractive and creamy coming through.

PAA - A Unique Story ..

Amitabh plays a role in which he has a medical condition called Progeria, a rare genetic condition resulting in early aging. In this movie Bachan plays Auro a 13 year old looking like a 25 years younger because of his medical condition in the movie.
Paa features Abhishek, Vidya Balan along with Big B. Here Abhishek plays the role of DAD to Amitabh bacchan.
This movie might be an introduction of some innovative thinking in the bollywood which has now been in the saturation stage of Mushy Romance and Lovely songs.
It's been said that AB has put in 8 hours of Strenous efforts to look like a Child. Well done AB!! Abhishek must learn something from his PAA :)

Google Dashboard - Google knows Everything about you !

I found the following article at ZDNET which explains about the Google's Privacy Dashboard. This article covers about the main features which enables the users to see all their Google information including chatting, search preferences and surfing routine using this application.

The more Google products you use, the more data it collects about everything you do online—your search history, your emails, the blogs and news sites you read, which videos you watch on YouTube, your news alerts, tasks ,and even shopping lists. For some of these, you need to explicitly grant Google permission to keep track of data associated with your profile. But it’s hard to keep up with everything Google is tracking. So now the company is launching a Google Dashboard, which will give you a high-level summary of everything Google knows about you by virtue of the Google products you use. This might include how many emails are in your inbox, recent subject lines, which YouTube video you’ve watched lately (yes, all of them), appointments on your calendar, and more.
If you want more detailed data, it sends you to the particular data repository for that product. And for security purposes it does not create a second database of all the data, it just brings it up in your browser without restoring it server-side.

The Dashboard is only for Google products which require you to sign in with your Google account. It does not include cookie-based data Google collects through DoubleClick ads or other ads.

Windows 7 - The Re-Emergence from the Bewilderness

By the End of the October 2009, Microsoft has launched the most awaited version of Windows - Windows 7. And this time, the wait was from the Other side, it was not the consumers (who were particularly still busy in trying establishing the Nuts and Bolts of Windows Vista - The Earlier version of Windows. So it was ideally the Developers and Microsoft Inc. which was eager to launch the new version on Board.
Around 22nd October 2009, Microsoft launched the Polished and Eloquent version of their Windows with usual Fanfare and glitters. Hoarding, leaflets and heavy promotion everywhere. Now, i am in the quest to try the so Called rescuer of pain and Re-Structuring of the ease, may the best of time comes when the world will get used to the next Revolution in Windows Operating System. The Convergence is still ON !

Mission 100

When you claim yourself to be "A Writer" before this innocent world, and you boast like anything, there should be a decent figure of number of blog posts that must accompany you along to support your funny claims.

Recently, i was amazed to know that it was only 40+ blog postings i did till date during this year. That is very low considering the way i promote the purpose of writing and inside-out feelings that i spread like bird's wings. The blog has surely added contentment and a purpose of my writing. It added the creativity in the way i express and keep my point, but still boasting on such a "44" count does not necessarily serve the viewing pleasure of any of the reader.

I have thus, planned to make the count to 100 by the time this year Finishes! I wish to conver everything i had left in the haze of my marriage and the life after that. Though, no plans of past posting as i do not find it very fair.

So , lets calculate this post as a Pledge, a Swear, a Determination ... And bring it to 100

Seeing this, i just thought that it's a best bet to take the Hairdryer along on my next Beach Vacation!!

Enroute to Great Personality

MindTools - Website Review

Just while seeking to implant good communication skills and proactive writing habbits(more so on this blog), i stumbled upon a great site. This site has lots of articles related to various tips and tricks related to building a better personality.

I was impressed with the look and feel and the simplicity with which the various articles are categorized into the easily navigable sections that provides the lucid browsing experience.

Just to get a taste of strengh of the article's inevitable vocabulary, i just jumped into one of the Reasonably Titled article "Making a Great First Impression". The article first was initiated with the brief overview and then moved to explain each imperative topic in graceful point by point manner.
The reader thus does not feel the burden of being imparted the complete theseis and theory. One can understand by just reading the outline and may follow the article in depth if liked by him.
In all, i would definitely recommend the reading freaks like me to "have a Go" at least once on this Site..
Happy Browsing ...

Dusherra .. End of An Evil Spirit or Just Another Great Holiday

The festival of Vijay Ashtami or as popularly known as Dussherra brought the joy, happiness and Holiday to all. Those who understands the meaning of observing this festival really knows the imperativeness of celebrating but for others, its just a Holiday to pass the time.

This Dussherra sadly, i did the same. I just passed the time watching here and there . From one nook of our lane to another corner of it for various effigies.

I felt lucky enough to know that we belong to few colonies wherein the celebration of dusherra was so extravagant that people from extreme south and north end of the city ventured here to have a glimpse of the brightness of the occassion.

Partying the Nuts off !

Last week, after a long long and longer time, we celebrated the party. After so much head mugging with all the participants, we finally drove into finalizing the date and venue of the party.

The get together(what we officially have English synonym for "Daaru party") was arranged in cool ambience of Rooftop at Gravity Restaurant, Noida . The beautiful ambience of chairs and tables lined up in perfect arrangement mused everyone to drink and drab harder. But let me first clarify, before my wife get a chance to read and misunderstood my swere of not drinking "Alcohol" -- I only drank "Mocktail" Zapatta [See, i remember the Name as well !].

The chicken platters, wings, and what not came in abundance and we had thoroughly stuffed ourselves for the next day as well ... (at least for the next Morning at least ;-)

We started back for our homes early but it was a day of abundance of joy and niceties. Will definitely be looking ahead for more such parties.

Make money With Web Directory

Recently, i got to read a good article from Abhishek Deshpande's blog. The blog is about "Making good money from Web Directories."
Must Check out this at..

BlueLemonHost - The Cheap and Best Service Provider

I found a few great web hosts, which are really cheap yet reliable for Professional Website Hosting. So thought to put a review about them here.
Bluelemonhost

Its one of the cheapest host i had seen on web, that too with cPanel and 99.9% uptime!
I had used it personally & its really good.

Good things about it:
- Too cheap …basic plan costs $11/yr only.
- cPanel based panel….thus really cool to manage things.
- Great link speeds….as per my tests – uplink – 3.5MBps and downlink – 2.8MBps (though appears to be little slow…but believe me its far better then expensive Dreamhost!)
- Good support….always responses with “done/solved/ok”
- Daily free backups with free restoration (nice!)
- No irritating limits on number of sub domains, sql databases & users, ftp users and even mailing lists.

Bad things about it:

- No ssh shell access (but i do accept its useless to give that in plan like $11 an year due to security reasons).
- No wget allowed (even via cron jobs) though good way out is just using ftp commands in shell but again that’s not for home users.
- Irritating limit- in $11 plan you can host only 1 addon domain & parked domain.
- No great cPanels addons like website builder or templates. (though you won’t need those ever!)

I recommend it using just for personal blogs and small professional sites because of its cost, features it just provides really solid hosting for personal blogs but because of limitations i won’t recommend it for an advanced user.

Re-Revival...

So, once again.. The person, who claims before a bunch of group .. that he is a writer, Writes the immaculate blogs .. and that too boastfully .. is mercifully ... writing the first blog entry after 1 month!!

And to add to the injury... he is making hat-trick in Apologizing to the blog.. that he has really been off the touch for such a long time.

So this time, i will just silence myself by adding not much to my Self-Submission. Rather lets start with what is happening in and around me.

There are lots of things that happened in the globe around me...
- Janamashtmi (The birth of Krishna)
- Jaswant Singh (His book about jinnah)
- Chetan Bhagat (My Head-On with him at book fair on 5th September 09)
- Independence Day (This was india's so definitely i would have liked to write a post about it)
- Modular kitchen construction (Still on going on the day of writing this post)

.. and still ... i could not catch up with them ... Feeling sorry .. but let bygones be bygones ..

It will now be the start of another swere-in ceremony to post regularly! Hit it ...

Rakshabandhan - The day in momentum ...

So, here is the day ... Jumped again from the wilderness of the complete year that went by. As they say, its the day which belongs to "sisters" - in particular, specially when she is the one who is to earn thousands from their bro's happy pocket and in addition to that the "by default" protection and caring from their brothers!

No matter what it may cost, the good feelings attached to this festive is just unique and Amazingly our very own ... Indian!!

Right since morning, we are preparing for the day, which will have us meeting cousins, having sweets(and much much more of them, even if your Digestion system does not give you Green Signal for that!), and loads of eventual fun and photography.

I am looking forward for the day ... Just praying to the God that Ladies in My House (i.e my Mom, Sis and Wife) get into their respective Uniform really fast!

When Rain God Cried for Delhi! ... Oh Gawd!!!

Hey, delhi finally got the rainfall.... the heaviest of this season. Be it cars, buses, ministers or streaming sweats ... all came to standstill, when the Rain god, opened his extravagance spirit to show its inevitable July Romance with the capital.

.... and if you think i would end up the post with the happy face... nope ... just like last year's post ... Delhi drowned .. Almost! Roads were cursing the MCD for its drastic condition and there was no soul which could find a solution to this.

As i crossed in front of India's highest court ... The Supreme Court, the Condition of road were as pathetic as that of india's legal system ... Dettered and Broken!

But one thing consistent about this city is ..... Ms Shiela Dixit ... and its Palpable condition.

Here in Delhi ... When Rain God Cries ... Delhi Does that as well .. with Much more Magnitude!

The Dance of Death OR The Death of Dance

Last week, i was stunned to hear about the news of sudden death of Michael Jackson. He was such a classical dancer that world used to swear on his name and dance. India's prabhu deva when came into the scene with his famous Muqabla Song being nominated as the India's answer to phoren Michael Jackson. But truly, MJ had his class which he only possessed. He was the sheer and astounding art of a dancing skeleton fitted into the lavish suits. He effortlessly jumps an inch off the ground and with the mixture of his nitty gritty smooth style, just withhelding his composure, produce some magnificient piece of sketched performance on the screen. Majestic!! Really a treat to the eyes. I still remember the days when i was small, and my father made me see his dance where he emerges from the ashes and steal the queen from the King. His masmerizing dancing style and the attention he puts into each of his step ... its magnetic ...! He devoted a huge amount of time in producing some gregorious music for the social issues like "Black and white".

Today .. we have lost a Legend in the arms of history, the dance of his will only be there on Youtubes, picture of his will only be there in books and magazines, but his sould will rest in peace in heaven for the fact that he did wonders to this world and the next generations of pop music.

God Bless Him ... !!

Phew ... that was Really fast ... Tooo Furious

Just few time back, i had the chance to see the first scene of Fast and Furious. I was spectacularly amazed by the scene which has the loads of action, class and card zooming past. the potential scene has everything which could make it worth watching.

The lavishness with which the cars crashed and the Tankers trolley waved and collided made it the magnificient of the scene.

I will try to watch this movie in totality once i got the chance to sit and watch the movie. I definitely suggest the action lovers to watch this movie at Least Once .. "Fast and Furious - Tokyo Drift"

Hmmff .... At Last !

Today, even 17 days seems a decade when we finally got a holiday from the office. After the major SAP implementation and supporting it, we got the great chance to rest our shoulders and souls on the cushion of home and say to ourselves, yes, finally its a SUNDAY!!

Our last 3 weeks have been all but relaxing. There was lots of stress, anxiousness and call for delivery. Finally the hard work paid off. As i am starting to celebrate the start of my holiday, i have just found that most of it has already been lost out.

Nevertheless, let me do the first best thing for today, get into the bathtub.

HEN and its Eggs ..

How many of us would have seen a hen trying to hatch her eggs by religiously sitting over them with dedication, persistence and mettle. It makes all possible efforts to deliver the best of offsprings and even protect them from the external nuisances.

From the last 6-8 months we were feeling cut out as a "Hen", except these were not eggs from us, rather from the Employer we work with ("HCL Tech"). The SAP ECC 6.0 launch were on the cards, so was the expectation from each individual(HEN), each manager(Keeper) and the complete department(Poultry). There were several weeks of unending tension and dedication involved, which brought us to the stage where we are ready as a unit to go ahead.

Today, is the important day in this regard. We are about to zoom off. Out eggs are about to crack and we are eager to show the world what we have delivered. Though its been estimated that there would be few nuisances, but they say ..."fortune favors the brave".

From the various nooks and corners, we are moving towards the "Total Revolution" in the various applications the Corporate use. There has been outright change in the way the applications behave while interacting with SAP, and that eventually adds the valuable crunch and meaning to whole excercise, we've been into.

Today ... We Move ... We Move ahead towards extra efforts. We are stepping one step ahead, from Hatching to Caring. May god bless us in producing the best of Deliverables we always wished for.

Our Eggs are Ready in the Basket Now ....

Note My Vote ~~

As India enters into a phase of election wherein the new Prime Minister is to be chosen, the Politicials and whole political fraternity is vying to vouch upon the innocent perceptions of General public. Off-late, there is quite a buzz about whom to vote and whom to not.

There are lots of rallies, promises and more of it flowing from the mouth of several politicians but little one has faith and reliability in the crude bunch of promises, that eventually never becomes the reality.

The time has come, when the luck has presented us the opportunity to decide, to decide the leader for ourselves and for the country. The country is looking from the hidden doors of progressiveness and prosperity to come out and fly, we perhaps need the right pilot for our Nation.

It is often said by the youth that country is worse, with lots of problems and snoring pace of development, but it may well be argumented that because of this country, one can heave the sigh of relief for bringing lots of opportunities for the youth to develop, grow and visit abroad.

Now, today, its the time for me, you and everyone of us, to come out from the crumbles of our bed sheets and VOTE ... !!

The lip licking pizzas at posh malls can wait, the laugh-riot movies will still be there on the Box office for next week, but this opportunity to choose what's best for you, will not be for you tomorrow. Lets realize Voting is not just your right, ... its actually doing Right with your "Right".

Let's Vote ... India !!

IPL-2 : When going gets tough, Ask shahrukh!!

Eureka!! Eureka!! Eureka!! This is what Archimedes screamed and came in full monty publicly to scream out and ran towards nothing but to the utter despair of his excitement and joy. He has found something he wanted to show to the world, something examplary yet unknown to the human race then!

Today, no wonder if Shahrukh do it, smartly, out of South Africa. His smartly carved team which ran into losses in last IPL edition is doing no good here as well. Time by time, days by days, matches by matches, all they were seeing is Losses and more of it. So, this just explains why the possession of Big cast in your Team is not the big thing, but right Casting is!

There are several things that pinched the KKR(Kolkotta Knight Riders) from left, right, center and back! First of all, before they were dispatched to South Africa, the matter of Multiple captaincy raised by Coach John Buchnan raised handful of eyebrows. And that of course casted the anger from all sorts of cricket brains. The 'sunny bhai' was at his orthodoxical best.

Things followed in more drastically with them losing close matches especially to Rajasthan royals, and then who can forget the pain in the neck, the fake IPL Blogger. Overall, it is a hounding tour for the Shahrukh's men, and as they are seeing their early exit, they need to do immediately or else quickly pack their bags and come back to india ... Elections are round the corner, so players won't like to miss the elections and be the Pappus all around!

Fri-ed Chick-In Day

As i returned from the heavy day of work, the tastier and hotter chicken is waiting for me. As termed in my home, today is chicken day, so naturally dinner at my home is a dream come true for any non-vegie.

This is a shortest attempt of mine to capture my excitement of the day in few words. As the smell of chicken just served by Rashu is reaching my nostrils ... i am gettting more inclined to jump onto the dining table rather than doing "khitter pittar" on the keypad.

going ... to have CHICK-IN!! Yipeee!! :)

Recession .... Deeper Hole than though out to be.

Off late, there were too many scary elements roaming in the air which all were talking about the Recession and its deep impact on the Indian Economy. All of a sudden the global economy was seen sliding into the deep rooted evil of recession. With the start of the Lehmann's fall, the whole world saw the jaws of uprooting of the terrific economy starting.

As our journey into the deep hole progressed, the world saw several termination letters, pink slips and sad moments in the life of employees all over. Crazy scandals were unveiled and world was made to think about the right way to spend the money. But more than that, it was the media that had created a lot of influence on the life of common man, it made the "Journey into the Deep hole" much more scarier, than what it could have been if the media were not so full of Horror stories.

I personally believe, the media is a hypnotizer when it comes to reporting news and making people believe about a tale, be it a sordid one, or full of jovialness. At morning, when one reads a newspaper, he is bound to believe the news which were conveyed in the 30 page something journal. So, i believe its a supreme responsibility of media to present mature and unbiased news keeping the sensitivity and vulnerability of the viewer/audience in mind.

As the market is slowly but surely showing signs of progress, we assume that media will take the pieces from its past and will improve itself for the world to see more meaningful media coverage about a situation.

Shoe politics ..

I returned to home from office only to learn about the incident wherein, a sikh reporter , Jarnail singh, did what an IRAQI journo did to Couple of month's back. You must know that these journalists are very hardworking beings, and as they need to travel a lot, ofcourse what takes a heavy toll because of their heavy head walking are none other than .... SHOES!!

Thus, these journos found easy way of disposing their old shoes ... throw them at politicians!! At least by this way, after so much efforts, if the shoes strike best, the shoes may remain happy for life !!!

Long Live Politicians

Rising Again ...

How often did we realise in life, that we breath through the fresh air, and our body, just propels with the soothing feeling of joy, enthusiasm and undying spirit. It's the single blog since long time, and over the period of my absence, i was just doing what i had mentioned, right at the start. ..... Breathing the fresh air, fresh air of my life . When i last penned down my thoughts in this blog, i was right on the way to settle my new life. And, now, when i am feathering the blog's compose window, with my keystrokes, my life has changed, changed a lot ... indeed.

So, first thing first, I changed my Marital status from "Single" to "Married" !! Yeah i know, there are lots of unknown girls to me, who would be disappointed to see me getting married .... or they may not, infact :) ... but on the serious note, i found the perfect match as my life partner. And, within very few time, we have strong chemistry matching up, and i would attribute this entirely to her ability of being jovial and sensitive; frank and mature at the same time.

She is truly a heart winner. And in the sincere sense, i would also wish to dedicate this blog to her. Her name is "Rashmi". There are few things which are not just said, they are just understood. I learnt quite a handful of this phrase from her. She is subtle yet bubbly, easy go lucky and very determined.

Ya... i know praising wives too much is not the usual mentality of Regular Husband's bandwagon, but still ... these are the initial days, so let me add some flowery stuff to this blog, so that at least Rashmi does not object to my habbit of writing blogs. :)

In addition to this, temperature at office has risen to the next level due to the implementation of SAP, this being a major project, is taking a toll on my personal life, but still professional life also to be taken care of, and a understanding partner and family surely helps you to Stand the tough times with ease. I am thankful that i have both - i.e. An understanding partner and good parents.

Thats enough for today, this is the best thing i could have done on this sunny but chilly sunday afternoon. Recalling the last six months are not so easy, but surely the tide of time has started afresh and i am already on the lucky roller coaster.

I pray to the god, that may this new year bring Prosperity and success to both of us and our families.

Happy New Year to all readers !!

Say out LOUD !
